With a remarkable career spanning 25 years in Radio, TV, Theatre, Events, and activation, Roshan made his mark in Bollywood in 2011 with a directorial debut under Shahrukh Khan’s Red Chillies Production.
Founder of ENCOMPASS in 1999, Roshan’s creative genius led the agency to WPP’s doorstep, resulting in a stake sale in 2008. Today, Encompass is among India’s top BTL agencies with a 40 million USD annual turnover.
Roshan is deeply involved in education. In 2006, he founded EMDI/Encompass Institute of Radio Management. Currently, he’s immersed in the passion economy, working on his next feature film and partnering with Glitch, a top digital agency.
Roshan, a polymath, is an actor, TV and radio host, producer, event manager, creative and film director, lyricist, CEO, and author. He co-founded Kommune and conceptualized the Spoken festival, showcasing global performers.
Rooted in his Lucknow upbringing, Roshan discovered the magic of words early on. His big break came in 1994 as a radio jockey with Times FM, leading to a prolific career in radio and television hosting.
